Pranero is a general wellness tool that helps you keep track of what you eat, how you move and how your weight changes. Please read this before relying on it.
1. Not medical advice
Pranero is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Nothing in the app or on this website is medical, dietary or fitness advice. Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before changing how you eat or exercise, especially if you have a health condition, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are recovering from illness or injury.
2. Estimates, not measurements
Calories, macros and micronutrients are estimated by AI from what you say, based on typical recipes and portions. Pranero does not use a food database or weigh your food, so values can differ from the real thing, sometimes by a lot. The same goes for calories burned in workouts, weight trends, projections to your goal, the “why it moved” explanation and daily micronutrient needs, which are general figures for adults.
If you need precise numbers for a medical reason, work with a professional.
3. Suggestions
Meal and workout suggestions and target changes are automated, based on your own logs and general rules. They don't know your full health picture. Ignore any suggestion that doesn't feel right, and stop any activity that causes pain, dizziness or discomfort.
4. Eating disorders
Counting calories and weighing yourself isn't right for everyone. If you have, or have had, an eating disorder, or tracking makes you anxious, please speak to a health professional before using Pranero, and stop if it isn't helping.
5. Age
Pranero is designed for adults aged 18 and over. Its targets and daily needs are not suitable for children or teenagers.
6. No guarantees
- We can't promise any particular weight, fitness or health result.
- Results depend on many things Pranero can't see or control.
- Health apps you connect (Apple Health, Health Connect) are run by Apple and Google; we're not responsible for their data.
7. In an emergency
If you feel unwell or think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services straight away.
